The objective of this thesis was to set a guideline for the business premises management of Porvoo city concerning the planning of the kindergarten yards and a listing of plants to be used in the kindergarten yards. The idea for the guidelines came from the need of more thorough planning of the kindergarten yards and plant areas. The aim is to improve the circumstances of kindergarten yards to be equivalent to the needs and demands of kindergarten functions and also to make maintenance work easier and to raise the level of maintenance in the kindergarten yards.
