This Bachelor’s thesis was commissioned by Consti Talotekniikka Asuintalot Pirkanmaa Oy as the company had a need to develop their quality assurance policy.

The aim was to draw up a standardized procedure for the company’s own renovations in wet room cases where the demolition is not comprehensive enough.

To collect information for the study the experience in the field of construction found in the company was used. In addition, professional literature related to the construction field, interviews, documentation and observations from an example target, As Oy Muusikko, were utilized in the study.

As a result of the thesis a document to serve the contractor and commissioner was drawn up. A moisture measurement document was also produced. It will continue to operate as part of the company's quality assurance policy.
