The purpose of this Bachelor’s thesis was to define the meaning of the services that are offered to rehabilitators by ASPA Palvelut Oy. In addition, the aim was to determine the best provided services and to get developmental suggestions regarding services in ASPA Palvelut Oy.

The purpose of the theoretical framework is to define a person undergoing mental health rehabilitation, mental health rehabilitation and mental health services. The housing services are also described in general and in ASPA Palvelut Oy of Valkeakoski.

The thesis was made with qualitative research method and was divided in two-phases. The thesis was carried out in collaboration with ASPA Palvelut Oy of Valkeakoski. The research material was collected by theme interview. Altogether eight customers of ASPA Palvelut Oy enrolled in the individual interview. The research material was analyzed by inductive content analysis. A discussion of the results of this thesis was also organized together with the staff and customers.

According to the results of this thesis, the customers were relatively satisfied with the services of ASPA Palvelut Oy of Valkeakoski. In addition, services were considered to be useful in the rehabilitation process. Especially in visits to home and in group activities, practicing the everyday chores, discussion and team work were seen to support the rehabilitation. The persons undergoing mental health rehabilitation felt that team work and the contents of team work activities need some improvement.
