The purpose of the thesis was to study the philosophy behind entrepreneuership in company MV Laaksonen Oy. The aim was to find out company´s strenghts, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

The study was divided into two parts, the theory and empiric sections. The theory sections included the different backgrounds of entrepreneurship. The theoretic aim is to analyze what the entrepreneuership is. With the help of theories, you can separate what includes in starting a company and what should be planned and noticed. The theoretic material for this study has been taken from different literature on entrepreneurship.

The thesis was carried out with the help of SWOT-analysis. The SWOT-analysis was conducted together with the company´s owner. We also analyzed the results together.

This research showed that the company has good opportunities and many strengths. The company has also strong support behind which is important to the company´s actions.

As a conclusion, you can say that the company´s future are good and the business does not any require risk-taking, thus it is relatively risk-free.
