Organizational image has an important role in the business economics of today. Image isn’t only important to the companies but also to the schools. Organizational image may be a key factor for a young person deciding where to study. This thesis studies the organizational image of Mustiala unit of HAMK University of Applied Sciences. Focus of this thesis is on the organizational image of youth education. The commissioner of this thesis is HAMK University of Applied Sciences. Organizational image can be based on several things such as experiences, rumors or ads. Creating organizational image is a long-term project, mainly consisting of the organization’s activities and communications. Organizational image has a great influence as it impacts one’s mental image of an organization as an employer, a cooperation partner, an educator or a place of study. In extreme cases it may even judge whether the company will succeed or not. This thesis utilized the existing literature focusing on business economics and marketing. There was fairly lot of material available on these subjects. There wasn’t much literature available on the ACID test which was used in the thesis. In the research section, the ACID test was used to study the image of the Mustiala unit among teachers and students. The goal was to find out the current organizational image. The poll was electronically executed with the Webropol software. Results indicate that the overall image of the Mustiala unit is good. However, there could be some improvements in the area of teaching, for example. Results also indicate that one way to boost organizational image would be a better utilization of the Mustiala educational farm.
