The commissioner of this thesis was The College of Landbased Studies in Livia College of Peimari Group of Further Education and Training. The aim for this work was to go through different things needed in writing a textbook. For this study, a chapter about organic weed control suitable for educational purposes was written.

The aim for this study was, besides to give its reader a picture of the means for organic weed control, also an impression for what should be considered while writing a textbook.

This study is a functional thesis and its results and conclusions are based on the things the author discovered while writing. Because these observations are very subjective, it would be possible, that a research made by another person, would give different results.

Writing a professional textbook is a process that takes time and nerves. For its scale and pedagogic skills needed it can't be recommended for those writing their first book.
