The purpose of the thesis was to research the development of artworks needed in the exhibition called Im Still Here. The starting point of the the-sis was the need to make authors personal history visible. The idea behind the thesis was the Udder-bowl made in 2012 for authors mother and the pictures from Tottijärvi countryside taken in fall 2013. Childhood and November become visual throughout casted huffs and paintings.

The process was documented in a work journal. Different stages were photographed to open artistic and technical process. The thesis opens author`s childhood memories with the help of written text and photographs. The main source was the author`s own memories and experiences, sketches, photographs and process. Some support was taken from other sources also.

The outcome of the thesis was about 70 unique huffs and two paintings for author`s upcoming exhibition. By verbalizing the artistic process the author gained confidence to express herself verbally. The written process made process itself more understandable for her self and others. Working with a personal subject was healing and clarifying.
