This Bachelor´s thesis was commisioned by JJ-Kuljetus Oy, a transport company specialized in liquid chemicals transports. The aim for this thesis was to create proper process descriptions and written work instructions in order to make the introduction of new employees more constructive and to prepare the company for the acquisition of ISO 9001 standard in the near future. This thesis consists of two main parts. The first part of the thesis consists of the theoretical base of the work and the empiric part of the work starts from chapter 4. The theoretical part of this thesis covers the general descriptions of process management and the descriptions of selected financial administration processes. This thesis is a functional thesis and the empiric part of the work was carried out mainly by interviewing of company´s management and accountants. JJ-Kuljetus Oy had already implemented the digital financial management system, when this thesis project started. During this project it was essential to also assess the implementation project itself for company´s own needs. As an end result of this thesis, the company has now process descriptions and named project owners in financial department. Detailed work instructions were created for all the base tasks of the financial department. With these materials the company can start developing their processes further towards the targets set during this thesis project. In addition to the material for internal use, an updated division of tasks between JJ-Kuljetus Oy and the accounting company was also created.
