When Company moves its financial administration services in to a systems or software, it isn’t simple project. Project takes lot of time and there are several important things which need to be considered during the process.Company need to pay attention to information security and validity of reporting,especially when financial administration services are imported in to a cloud aka Internet server.

XParts Oy is a Finnish company which has focused its business to a repair parts and accessories of cars. The owner had decided to give up the ownership of the company so planning of a change of generation started. There was an unrelated bookkeeping firm which was responsible for whole bookkeeping before the planning of a change of generation started. There wasn’t any stock accounting either with the exception of information in an owners own head.

Purpose of this thesis is to investigate the acquisition process of the cloud software and also explain what electronic and digital financial administration in a “cloud” means.

Thesis concerns acquisition process from the start to an end. The acquisition process and financial cloud services are deal with business literature and information received from several interviews. There are also used magazines and electronic publishing as sources.
